Theme: Travels

A Traveling Man

Every road not taken is a turn not made
Every turn not made is a place not visited
Every place not visited is a culture not known
Every culture not known is a knowledge not found
Every knowledge not found is a mystery not discovered.

Mr. Hitchhiker

Thumbs up, a car is passing by,
He is going to paradise, so am I.
A shame I do not have a ride,
But I am never ashamed to beg for it.

Heads up, fuel is running out,
Time to pay the gentleman's price!
After all, he did help me out.
The least I can do is to help him, too.

Wake up, my hitchhiker friend,
Here's our stop! Oh wait - it's not?
Oh no, dear hitchhiker friend,
The paradise I know is not as you know!

Cheer up, dear good Samaritan,
We have come a long way now, have we?
Let us enjoy this paradise for now,
Maybe the next one you can join me, too.

The Final Destination

One can travel the seven seas
But find no place that he calls home;
And visit the seven wonders
But find no place to rest his soul.

One can see no love nor care
But finds a place to lay his head;
Or finds nothing but despair
But has place for his heart to rest.

One can read and not understand
But achieve greater than most men;
Or be named by fame or wisdom
But achieve nothing known to man.

One can be a man or a woman
But they start at the same location;
Or they can poor or even rich
But change the world with a passion.
