The first to fall and the last to rise,
you may be late but never less fine.
Know that failures are but unsuccessful tries,
know that even fine wine does take time.
The last to win and the first to loose,
you may be late but never less timely,
Know that a loss is but a little bruise,
know that with battle scars come victory.

While
Learn while you have the time,
Talk while you have the words,
See while your sights still sees,
Don't wait till it is too late, too.
Dance while you have the strength,
Laugh while you have the humor,
Sing while your voice allows it,
Don't wait till you are too old, too.
Work while you have the chance,
Travel while you have the means,
Give while your wallet's still full,
Don't wait till it's not enough, too.
Feel while you have the senses,
Think while you have the wisdom,
Love while you have a heart to,
Don't wait till you are too late, too.

One Last Look
One last look at the pictures of you, I shall be done,
One last time to at these words, I swear it this once.
One last look at the way you smile, I will move on.
One last time I make these promise, I will be off.
Maybe one more time to hold on again, a little longer,
Maybe some other time for the chance, if it matters.
Maybe one last look can make me feel better,
Maybe not to look at all can put me back together.
One last look at the smile you sent me, in a frozen frame,
One last time to take a mental picture, burn it into my brain.
One last look just for good measure, in case I forget to,
One last time and it will be enough, time to bury you.
Maybe one day I will be back for you, memories of old,
Maybe the tears will fall if I missed you, as I was told.
Maybe one day you will see that I shut the door,
Maybe, oh just maybe, you would just knock.

Eyes
Look into my eyes, tell me what you see,
Is there a man looking back at you
Or is it a beast you see?
Look me in the eyes, tell me who I am,
Am I a warrior or a whimp
A peasant or a king?
Look into my eyes, tell me what you see,
Is there a boy standing far away
Or a man close to you?
Look me in the eyes, tell me who I am,
Am I a saint or a sinner
A shadow or a light?
- GS

Love Drunk
Love is not a four letter word, it
is five actions that I show
To touch, talk, walk, work and give
to prove I do.
Love is not a way to get you out,
but a path to let me in
To see you from inside not to
force yourself out.
Love is not a strength, it is a
weakness that I have
A weakness I gladly possess to
show you I care.
Love is not my pride, it is given
up to accommodate you
Because I have no room for pride
if I have you.
Love is not a feeling, it is a
choice I made for myself
An action that demands perseverance
and trust.
Love is not from the heart, it is
also from the head
An art and science that cannot be
explained.
Love is not a big wide path, that
shit is called lust
To have only but never to hold on
for good.
Love is that little bridge you are
afraid to walk on
Because you are just too damn chicken
to fall.

Sleep Not Tonight
Sleep not tonight, for we dine in our sorrow,
The darkness of the sky will be our waiter,
His hands are the winds that blow,
And our secret fears are our dinner.
Sleep not tonight, for we drink to our sadness,
The abyss from the void invites us to drink,
Her glass of wine is the finest,
And our minds shall cease to think.

Two Years
Two years back I would want to be,
I hated God that I never will be.
She was there right before me,
yet the clues I did not see.
Make me suffer like You want to,
because I knew joy from pain.
It is You who have taught me so,
that looses are worthy of praise than gain.
Two years passed since that day,
I regret saying I'm fine that You never said,
Because I scorn the day I didn't stay,
and never got to know her that way.
Dig a grave for me in heaven,
and let me know if death is sweet.
For life is bitter here on earth,
and hell is but another name for it.
- GS
"What is more painful - to loose what is valuable or to regret that it slips passed your finger and you never realized it, only to find out later that it is too late?"
