Cheers to the One,
He came in flesh alike to man,
but by a manner stranger to woman.
In a little manger asleep He lays,
As shepherds and heaven rejoice in His name.
He walked the earth man stood on,
but walked the waters that man could not.
By His hands the wounded heals,
His words break chains and bondage of yoke.
He lived the life every man knew,
but died for all and was falsely accused.
Yet not a sound, not a sound,
As He paid the price of bread and wine.
He hid in the grave like a man should,
but conquered death because He could.
Till this day, now and forever,
We remember that Jesus defeated the grave.
Cheers to the One.
