Writer's Prayer

Black ink and parchment,
Entertain me tonight.
Pen and paper,
Teach me how to write.

Thoughts and memory,
Fail me not this time.
Hand and fingers,
Write the words they sight.

Knowledge and wisdom,
Lead me as my guide.
Heart and mind,
Follow them tonight.

Creator

As God so fearfully creates,
The writer fearfully writes.
As how He patiently mold,
So does he patiently design.

Yet pride he takes not,
And glory he claims not.
For he loves his Creator,
And the creator He inspires.

For the Creator knows
the heart of the creator.
And life will the Creator give
for the worship the creator brings.
