Prayer

I pray you well, I pray you dwell
in peace and health, in wealth as well.

I pray you good, I pray you would
in all that stood, to do all good.

I pray you love, I pray you above
all you deserve, to find true love.

I pray you strength, I pray you rest
so even in death, you will find strength.

I pray you peace, I pray at least
if you must leave, all will find peace.

Lastly, I pray you joy, Sam,
that you find the same joy I found in you,
a true friend, whose company I enjoy.
