Non-existence is a blessing of no one,
It's enjoyment is the pleasure of none.
Like how the flesh a curse of one's being,
Is existence a burden to us unrelenting.
What joy is there in existence of man,
If all souls are to be given to death?
What pleasure can one learn from years,
If regrets in death fills us with fears?
Is this not why one prays for peace,
A reason for living this life on a lease?
If I know my creator and He knows me,
Will my soul live in perpetual harmony?
Maybe existence is a blessing, too,
One that is shared by more than two.
Maybe joy is meant for now and only,
So that all man do not feel so lonely.
That at least in death,
One remembers joy more than pain,
Happiness more than sorrow,
Life more than slumber.
